Our history
The Church of the Living God Ft. Myers was planted in 1946 by the late Bishop Herring. The first Pentecostal church in the city of Ft. Myers. This small church house made waves throughout the city. Being known for soulful and powerful revivals and soul stirring church services. In recent year the sound of this small church house had grown quiet. Until August of 2023 when now Sr. Pastor Bishop Cortez J. Williams was installed as the new Pastor. Now the echoes of anointing from decades prior have began to ring out as revival and conference are brought back to life in this congregation. Now a multicultural ministry that is striving to impact the lives of the region. The Church of the Living God in Ft. Myers is on fire yet again.
Our mission
Our Mission is to cause all people to make permanent transition from the bondage of sin to a free inheritance of salvation through Jesus Christ by teaching the word of God and living upon kingdom principles. We will strive to show the love of Christ in all that we do.
